What an AMAZING class!!!

I just took the most amazing advanced makeup class through the school I work for. For 2 weeks i spent everyday in this class to help me become a great makeup artist. I am so excited to start trying out what I learned. This is my model that I did hair and makeup on for the photo shoot on the last day of the class. I tried doing finger waves in an actual style for the first time ever and it turned out great! My model was amazing and beautiful, as you can see. She was one of my first students at AKA in Idaho Falls. These pictures are just some I took with my own camera so do not do her justice. As soon as I get the professional pictures back I will post them for everyone to see. I am so excited and hope to start doing makeup around the area and then on to bigger places. Hopefully someday, anyway.

It was our 6th year anniversary on Nov. 1, 2008. I can't believe it's been so long since we walked down the isle. We celebrated it by going to a murder mystery party. We dressed up as pirates, as you can see. It was so much fun. We have never done anything like that before. We both had so much fun. It turned out to be a great day.

Well, life has been busy! I am working a lot and loving it. My son started his first year of preschool and last Thursday tripped and fell over another child and landed on the corner of the table and had to have 7 stitches. Boy was that horrible. The RN had to tie him to a board and wrap him with a blanket to try to keep him from moving while the Dr. put in his stitches. It was so scary to him and he kept saying "YOU ARE SO MEAN" and would spit at them every few min. We are taking him in today to have them removed. Can't wait for that.

WOW!!! This is Awesome!!!

WOW!!! This is totally awesome! I never thought I would be blogging. I have seen more of my high school friends in the past couple hours than I have in the past 7 years. I have a lot to learn still but I am sure Jorelle will be helping me. Can't wait!!!

"Hi!!!" I am married and have one son who is three. I have just aquired a job at the new hair school in Idaho Falls, ID called Austin Kade Academy as an instructor. I am busy with being a mother, wife, and Cosmetologist. Since high school, I have graduated from ISU in the Cosmetology Program and am looking forward to expanding in this field with my new job. I was married on Nov. 1, 2002 to Erik Torres from Blackfoot, ID.
